Detailed information on cookies
- Technical or functional cookies: These cookies allow users to navigate through a website, platform, or application and use the different options or services available. They include those used by the website owner to enable the operation of the website and its functions, such as controlling data traffic and communication, identifying the session, accessing restricted areas, remembering items in a shopping cart, processing orders, managing payments, controlling fraud related to service security, requesting registration or participation in an event, counting visits for licensing purposes of the software running the service (website, platform, or application), using security elements during browsing, storing content for video or audio distribution, enabling dynamic content (e.g., loading animations of text or images), or sharing content via social media.
This category also includes cookies that manage advertising spaces in the most efficient way possible. These spaces are part of the design or “layout” of the service provided to the user, where content is selected based on editing criteria, and no user data is collected for other purposes such as personalizing that advertising content.
Technical cookies are exempt from the obligations established in Article 22.2 of the LSSI when they are used to provide the service requested by the user, as happens with the cookies listed above.
